Michelle has over 20 years' experience in digital marketing, product, and transformation. The Antipodean consults with brands, agencies and orgs to evolve their immersive and creative technology roadmaps. A tech-optimist, Michelle strives to inspire teams, yet always brings briefs and initiatives back to value-creation. Her specialty is translating complexity into relatable experiences and steps for everyone.
In addition to representation for the world’s leading digital production companies, Michelle has consulted on creative strategy and production for clients including Clorox, SwissTelecom, Cricket Wireless, Chipotle, Meta Quest, Logitech, BIC, and Isuzu.
She has given talks and workshops on Extended Reality (XR) and Augmented Reality (AR) at: TED Women, Spikes Asia (Singapore), Microsoft Mixed Reality Labs, Wharton MBA program and various Ad Schools, and created a three-part metaverse series for the American Marketing Association.
Outside of her consultancy, Michelle is cofounder and Chief Production & Innovation officer of Voiijer. Recently featured as App of the Day in the Apple App Store on Earth Day 2024, Voiijer strives to empower individuals and orgs to share their passion for nature and environmental conservation by sharing their stories and experiences.
What WCOP means to me
Innovation often comes from need. But often all we see in "tech" are the bright, shiny objects, not the powerful underlying transformation. I'm excited to bring my experience to WCOP, to design with our community and leverage available tools to enrich our lives and experiences. And perhaps devise new tools that will have an impact beyond Whanganui to the world.
